Precision Engineering An integral part of the NT Group is our precision engineering department. This consists of a modern machine shop and mechanical assembly facilities, with over 15 years experience of providing customers with a professional tailored service for either partial or total product build. Our customers benefit from competitive rates and can draw at any time on a wealth of engineering knowledge and experience pivotal to optimized production and manufacturing processes. Through professional project management and good communications with our customers, we are able to offer tailored products that meet customers exacting requirements. CNC Machining Our computer controlled milling and turning machines are capable of machining very complex shapes and forms. Using Kingsbury MHP CNC Lathes with “C” Axis, we offer milling up to 712x410x500mm. Turning permits chucking up to Ø165mm and Bar feed up to Ø42mm, with 300mm between center & chuck. Vertical Machining The Haas VCE 750 Vertical Machining Centers are programmed off-line and are equipped with Kitagawa Indexing Fixtures, 4th Axis & Vacuum Bed. Tool Room Facility A fully equipped tool making facility, able to produce any tooling requirements to support production, ranging from simple bending and punching tools to plastic injection moulds. Laser Marking A state of the art Laser Marker can mark metal and plastic parts with company logo, batch part marking and bar coding. A customised design service is available EDM A CNC Wire Eroder and a Sinking Spark Eroder allow us to provide a competitive wire erosion and die sinking service. Sheet Metal The sheet metal work facility is able to undertake a wide variety of work. Programming components into the punch press drastically reduces costs and lead times. Electro Plating Purpose built semi bright nickel-plating line, capable of plating components up to 750mm x 750mm x 150mm to the highest standard and yield.
